Dear Friends of the Foundation,

Thank you all for your fundraising efforts and generous gifts to support the mission of the Smith-Lemli-Opitz Foundation during this year’s 2024 Giving Hearts Day campaign!

Together, we raised $28,613.53 in the month leading up to and on February 8th — our annual giving day! We also fully utilized $3,000.00 in matching dollars from two generous donors.

Because of friends like you, the SLO Foundation provides support and education programs to families who are raising children diagnosed with Smith-Lemli-Opitz syndrome (at no cost to parents).

Your gifts also allow us to award small seed grants to researchers who are striving for better health treatments for our children. We cannot do it alone, so we are tremendously grateful for your kindness and generosity.
